TRECO Postal reaches 100 employees

We have reached a great milestone.

Our growth continues with another milestone! TRECO Postal is proud to announce that we have reached 100 employees.

In the first half of 2018, our number of employees has risen by 25 percent. In 2017, our entire staff increased by over 20 percent

The many hirings mean a lot to the local community which brings joy to TRECO Postal.

“Obviously, we are very proud of this particular milestone. Going from three men in overalls to 100 employees is huge,” CEO Preben Pedersen says and continues:

“It is funny to look back and think that we started as a small company and today are a global postal equipment manufacturer for large international corporations. This is something we could only dream about when we started TRECO Postal.”

How we reached this milestone

TRECO Postal continues to grow due to a combination of increasing global demand and an ambitious growth strategy.

With big projects in the pipeline, Preben Pedersen expects the growth to continue.

We opened a 4,000 square meter manufacturing hall in 2017 so we had the resources to handle the increasing interest in our postal equipment.

Today, there are around 30 employees in that manufacturing hall which we use for dedicated manufacturing.

Possible further expansion

If we continue to grow at this rate, we have to expand our manufacturing area once again so we can keep our manufacturing efficiency.

That is why we are currently looking at the opportunities for further expansion.

CEO Preben Pedersen points out that TRECO Postal has to control the growth and not the other way around.

“It is important for us that this is a controlled growth. That is much more important than the growth itself,” he says.

Even though we are busier than ever, it should not affect our current clients. Our quality and manufacturing still have to live up to the high standard we are known for no matter if it is a new client or an existing client,” our CEO explains.
