As a company in the metals industry -- a sector with high emissions -- we recognize the responsibility that comes with it. For us, sustainability means making optimal use of resources, minimizing waste and providing long-lasting solutions that contribute to a more responsible future. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint through energy optimization, efficient resource use and strategic collaborations.

We are committed to high safety standards and proper working conditions. At the same time, we work purposefully to reduce our CO₂ emissions and optimize our resource consumption. Our products exist only thanks to our dedicated employees — which is why we invest in their well-being, work environment and development. We expect our partners to do the same, so that together we can stand stronger in the value chain.
To ensure a transparent and structured approach to sustainability, reports through EcoVadis, an internationally recognized platform that evaluates corporate responsibility in the field of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG).
Our score has risen from 34 to 50 last year, which testifies to our commitment to improving. We have earned a Committed Badge, confirming our dedication to business conduct. But we are far from reaching the goal and we therefore have an ambition of achieving a silver medal in 2026.
We use EcoVadis because it is a credible and well-regarded platform that gives us an objective assessment of our efforts and at the same time helps us identify areas where we can improve further. By working systematically with these evaluations, we can continuously optimize our processes and ensure that we meet the highest standards for responsible business operations.
As a manufacturing company, a significant part of our emissions come from electricity consumption. That is why we have implemented several initiatives — for example, last year we installed solar cells, which now supply our machines with green energy.
We have also switched to LED lighting and installed motion sensors in several rooms to reduce energy consumption.
At the same time, we have improved our waste sorting and management in order to increase recycling and reduce emissions. We work with partners to ensure proper recycling of materials such as flamingo, cardboard and electronics. A new press for cardboard and plastics helps us optimise transport and waste logistics — saving both CO₂ and costs.
