When you pick up your package in a package box, you may have already enjoyed SwipBox's solutions. The company, which has roots in Denmark and was founded in 2012, today operates in 54 countries and offers intelligent packaging boxes that combine modern technology with user-friendly design.
SwipBox was founded in 2012 with a clear ambition to revolutionise logistics and parcel distribution through technology and user-friendly solutions – but as a tech company, they lacked a large manufacturing facility that could handle both the development of the finished product and efficiently scale production.
SwipBox partnered with TRECO to bring their strategy to life.

- We had the software in place, and the technology was developed – we felt quite confident that we were on the right track.

The solution:
A close partnership from day one
The collaboration between SwipBox and TRECO took its beginning with the development of the design and construction of the Infinity model. TRECO was in charge of the technical sparring and quickly converted the idea and design into a physical prototype, which was tested, adjusted and put into production.
- During the development phase, TRECO handled the technical development and quickly transformed our design of the Infinity model into a physical prototype, which went into production after a thorough testing phase.
With increasing demand and a growing market share, the partnership expanded. Since 2019, SwipBox has had its own dedicated production line at TRECO, equipped with specialised machinery and staffed by employees trained to produce SwipBox solutions. As part of a large manufacturing facility, SwipBox can quickly scale production up or down if the market changes unexpectedly – as it did during Covid-19.
- We have our own factory within the factory. We hold weekly status meetings with TRECO, where we adjust processes, adapt production, and discuss new ideas that can be put into play.
SwipBox’s Infinity model is produced at TRECO, which also manufactures the heavy base for the boxes to ensure high quality and a fully robust solution.
