TRECO was founded in 1992 by Preben Pedersen, Allan Prang and Per Therkildsen — three colleagues with a common vision: to create an innovative and value-driven metals company. They left their safe positions to realize an idea based on courage, quality and innovation. The company name TRECO derives from “Tre i Compagni” — a symbol of the cooperation and community that still permeates our culture today. In 2017, we launched the motto Ahead Together because we believe that the best development happens together — with customers, colleagues and partners.

With over 240 employees and more than 26,000 m² of production area in Aalestrup and Hadsund, TRECO has grown into one of Denmark's leading metal production companies.
